Wonderful
Fabulous hotel. Exceptionally clean, room was great. Staff were very, very helpful and friendly. location was out of the main area of Ubon Ratchissma , tuk tusk and taxi didn't know where it was. You really need a car to stay here as there are no eating or shopping places near by.
Location was out of the way, no where near shops or restaurants.

Good for overnight stay .
Beds comfortable, room clean, ok for the price. Good for overnight stay. Hotel still in new condition.
The morning shower ran out of hot water, hotel lacked warmth and homeliness, breakfast ordinary no good coffee and food not hot enough.

What was the highlight of Som-O House Hotel
The altercation about the breakfast ruined our perception of the hotel.
The room was very clean and modern. With good quality furnishings and a very big comfortable bed. There was a good television, but it only had Thai channels. The bathroom had a good quality toilet and shower which came with soap and toothpaste, but the quality of the soap and toothpaste was not so good.
The reception tried to charge extra for breakfast for one of my children, even though it clearly states in the description breakfast is free. After I complained and asked to see the manager, the staff stood there giggling as it seemed to be funny to them. The manager decided to give an extra coupon for breakfast to us, but didn't come out of his office to speak to us.

Clean and comfortable room
This hotel primary caters for Thai visitors, breakfast is mostly Thai food, with the exception of cold fried eggs, there are no English speaking T.V Channels. There is no seating area to relax other than the room booked.Looks like there's a gas station under construction right in front of the hotel, which may eventually lead to traffic noise during the night.
